SPONSORSHIP CHECKLIST

• Pray about who to sponsor
• Talk to that person and explain the Walk to Emmaus
• Invite that person to participate on the Walk
• Discuss, fill out, and mail application – determine any specific needs
• Attend team meetings
• Gather Agape letters – sort letters from family and deliver by Candlelight
• Support Walk with Agape
• Inform Candidate and Family of pertinent times
• Attend Send Off and Sponsor’s Hour

Wednesday 7:00 p.m. and 7:30 p.m.

• Attend Candlelight – Friday 7:00 p.m.
• Attend Serenade – Saturday 7:00 a.m.
• Attend Closing – Saturday 4:00 p.m.
• Support Pilgrim’s family during the Walk
• Attend Cluster Follow-up Dinner with Pilgrim and Family
• Help Pilgrim start or find a Reunion Group
• Help Pilgrim to get involved with the Community/Cluster
• Teach Pilgrim how to Sponsor others

Other Considerations:

• Paying for your Pilgrim’s Walk
• Provide transportation and meals for your Pilgrim
• Provide gift certificate for the Book Table
