EMMAUS EXPERIENCE

To start with I did not want to go on my walk. I honestly thought I was very close to God already. When Mo called with a cancellation it was God's way of telling me that this spot was opened just for me. I met the most amazing friends that I will never forget. I learned of God's grace that I never knew existed. I felt the most love coming to me that was so over whelming until it could not be contained. My heart swelled with emotion and the tears of joy flowed.

I have already begun to give back. Walk 113, for the men, was my first time to work. I helped with the greeting, the candlelight ceremony, serenade and serving at breakfast. I plan on being at each walk if possible and we have 2 of our kids signed up.

I would advise anyone to go on this and you will realize that no matter how close you think you are to God, it can't compare to how much closer you will be to God before you leave.
